About thePosition

The Accounts Payable Administrator is a great opportunity for an individual looking to join a growing and innovative organization and enjoy working in in a changing and fast-paced work environment.

RoleResponsibilities:

  • Be responsible for administering the full-cycle accounts payable process
  • Process vendor invoices which includes verifying and matching to source documents and/or allocating costs to appropriate GL accounts
  • Process internal expense reports and credit card statements for payment
  • Prepare bi-weekly payments which include cheques, ACH and credit card payments
  • Communicate with vendors via email or telephone in a professional manner regarding payments and account status
  • Cross training with others on the finance team
  • Other administrative tasks as needed

Ideal CandidateProfile:

  • Have Two (2) or more years’ experience in accounts payable 
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Are organized, have a strong attention to detail, and consistently meet deadlines 
  • Are self-motivated and able to work and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment 
  • Demonstrate initiative, autonomy, and the ability to solve problems creatively 
  • Have strong computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word and Excel
